BACKGROUND

MIRAL SEGUROS initiated its operation in 1979, set up to manage insurance policies, in an effort to reduce high insurance costs, reversing all advantages obtained to each and every client.

The high technical level of its professionals, gathered in a well-trained team by MIRAL, led them to expand the Company's horizons. Moved by the necessity of completing the analysis of the classical auditing pattern, MIRAL formulated a specific dimension for the insurance branch of the business, in view of the concern with that market area, as well as insistent inquiries by potential clients. MIRAL became part of the MDS Group, as of 2009, a Portuguese insurance and reinsurance Broker, with expressive operation all over the international market. MDS Brasil is the result of the joint venture between two enterprises - SONAE, an exquiset Portuguese Group, and SUZANO, a very well known Brazilian Company. Thus, MIRAL ratified its sustainability and aggressive share in the placement of risks on a domestic basis, as well as on an international level.

The experience gained since the first attempts in putting into practice that design, has proved to be very positive. Despite the number of good consultants in the market, the convergence of the interests of "insurance clients" became evident, seeking for specific guidance in the most diverse branches of insurance.

Offering full range of insurance, reinsurance and risk management solutions, MDS Brasil/Miral also provides basic negotiating services with specific markets, grounded on a wide assortment of options, tailored to meet the business needs of each client, domestic and/or multinational.

Permanently in contact with brokers established in USA, ASIA and UK, these last ones affiliated to Lloyd's, MDS Brasil/Miral is legally qualified to operate on the international insurance and reinsurance markets.
